Welcome to our section on
alternative medicine. While natural
medicine deals
with non-evasive methods of healing that are in complete harmony
with the life design,
as defined by natural law and evolution, alternative medicine
steps out of the history of mankind to use our discoveries in
nature to create treatments and modalities that have not been,
traditionally, used as a part of diet or healing. In this sense,
modern western "allopathic" medicine was one of the
first branches of alternative medicine utilized by man. Alternative
medicine
as
it is known today is really the evolution of medical science,
indeed the second iteration of medical science. Its primary focus
is toward treating underlying causes,
strengthening immune system function, and restoring balance to
the body, rather
than simply treating symptoms, offering palliative care, and
utilizing drugs to suppress or enhance body functions.
Many
areas of alternative medicine are under-funded. Like all
human earthly endevours, not all sources of information may
be trusted equally. We provide the following sections for research
purposes only.
